My Art in Interior Designer Homes
A few examples of my paintings in their own environment
The motorcycle painting is 5 feet by 8 feet and is displayed in the dining room of this contemporty home
All of the paintings are lare-scale (at least 50" x 70") acrylic on unstretched canvas.  This means the paintings hang like a tapestry or banner.  In the case of some of these paintings the client chose to have the painting stretched onto stretcher bars.  As you can see by these samples of my paintings in a variety of homes I am capible of producing (on commission) a variety of subject matter, including portraits, animals, sports figures, landscapes, etc.  and can work in vary large sizes.  Below you will see a couple of examples of art in the range of eight and nine feet.
This sports art of a hockey player is in a den of a condo that looks out towards the ocean
Landscape painting 4 feet by 8 feet in a client's Santa Monica Ca home.  Yes the dog is real
I Had created a number of football paintings for the NFL San Francisco 49ers, Levi Stadium and this client wanted a painting of the 49er's.
The boxeer painting is in a home in Malibu California.  Sports art can work nicely in an upscale home.
This painting of Venice Ca. Windward Circle Venice sign hangs at the top of a stairway
One of my clients took a portrait and had me put a floor finish on the painting.  This turned it into aan area rug under her small tsable in her den.  She has five of my portraits all of which are displayed in this manner.  I have had art showsin galleries  where my paintings have been displayed on the floor.  With the floor finish on the casnvas they are quite durible and add a whole new look to any room.
This portrait of US Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is is the den/office of this home adding life and unique colors to an otherwise dull room.
This dog art was an interesting choice for the decorator.  She added a casual dog painting to a room that had a different motif giving the room a more electic look
I thought this was an interesting use of my painting of a cow.  You can see it looking through the quite large living room and into the dining room.  Animals can be used in a variety of different environments giving a room an earthy, less formal look.
Large portraits (4 1/2 feet by 6 feet) in a large space.
Large sports art of a football player.  Sports art does not have to be delegated to a back room or den.   Here it is used in a dining room of a large, contemporary home.
You can see the Jimi Hendrix portrait on the side of the dining area.  Obviously the client wanted an iconic portrait for the room.  If your client has a special interest I am able to paint almost any subject matter - portaits, animals, sports, landscapes, etc.
Here is another example of a motercycle painting.  Again you can see how a large-scale (9feet by 6 feet) personalized piece works well for both the interior space and the client's personal interest.
